Why We Compare Glow Worm Tours

This page explains what Blue Mountains Glow Worms covers, how the two glow worm viewing options in the region differ, and how this site handles sources and money.

What This Site Covers

Blue Mountains Glow Worms is an independent guide to seeing glow worms in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales. The site covers two ways to see them: the free self-guided Glow Worm Tunnel walking track in Wollemi National Park near Lithgow, managed by NSW National Parks, and one bookable guided night hike from Sydney run by Wildscape Adventures.

The night hike is a small group experience with a maximum of nine people, hotel pickup, and a duration of about five hours. It runs from $128 USD per person with free cancellation up to 24 hours before. The hike goes to a glow worm cave behind a waterfall rather than the tunnel, and the operator does not publish the cave location.

How We Use Sources

Information on this site is drawn from NSW National Parks pages, Bureau of Meteorology Katoomba climate data, the real booking listing, and operator pages. We do not invent statistics, awards, staff names, or certifications. Where a fact comes from an official source, we rely on that source rather than estimates of our own.

How Money Works

Bookings happen on a major booking platform. When a reader books through a link on this site, the site is paid through the link at no extra cost to the reader; the price is the same either way. The order of our content is not for sale. The single tour is featured because it is the only bookable glow worm product we found, not because of any paid placement.

Booking And Contact

We do not process bookings, payments, or refunds. For any booking issue, contact the booking platform or the operator directly. You can reach this site at info@bluemountainsglowworms.com. Email sent to that address is used only to reply.
